I’m Niamh. I am a therapist and mother living in Sligo in the north west of Ireland.
I love being in nautre and I am very interested in social change.
I became a therapist because I care deeply about people and humanity as a whole. I believe that moments of deep connection in therapy, and increasing levels of awareness in society, can impact the world in postive ways.
I believe that all human beings will endure suffering in their lifetime. When processed, the pain of suffering can be transformative and can help to create meaning and enhance compassion for the benefit of individuals, communities and the world. Therapy is one way into this process.
I am a fully qualified psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and I abide by the IACP Code of Ethics and Practice.
